Synopsis[]
Reiko Kashima, The Slit-Mouthed Woman[]
Not buying her granddaughter's claim that Bamora is an alien, Seiko has Momo take her to school while she is out for work. While reluctant to have her accompany her, Momo tries teaching Bamora how to speak properly during their walk, which inadvertently leads to her becoming fond of the alien girl for a brief moment, and asks her about the kintama that went missing at the apartment complex. Bamora reveals to Momo that the golden ball from before is actually a core installed into her suit, though this still leaves Momo with a few questions and believes that she may get some answers from the Turbo Granny. After realizing that their almost late for school, Momo guides Bamora to a few ruins that acts as a shortcut, leading them to encountering the slit-mouthed woman yokai known as Reiko Kashima who attacks Momo after she hears her yell out the word "pomade".
Bamora fights back against Reiko Kashima for attacking Momo but is quickly dealt with after the yokai becomes unfazed by her punches and delivers a suplex as a counterattack. Momo makes another attempt to shout out the word "pomade" ten times, knowing that it can have Reiko Kashima disappear, but is interrupted once again after Reiko Kashima uses the multiple shards of glass on the ground to project her arm and attack Momo. Reiko Kashima is then restrained by Bamora but finds this not to be problem as she effortlessly restrains her back and imprisons her inside her mirror, viewing Bamora as someone that can make her look good by comparison when looking at her own reflection. Despite being told by Reiko Kashima that Bamora will disappear along with her if she shouts "pomade" again, Momo tells her that she honestly does not care what happens to Bamora and levitates bits of rubble off the ground with her powers, adding that she refuses to lose to the likes her and charges calling her an "ugly hag". In response to this insult, Reiko Kashima throws a tantrum as she chases Momo, which works to Momo's favor as this allowed her to snatch Reiko Kashima's mirror from her hand to try to get Bamora out. However, this ends up causing Momo to be sent inside as well after her reflection was shown.
Reiko Kashima soon becomes dissatisfied with the two girls blocking any room for her to see her own reflection and chooses to release them from their confinement after they both proceed to make cute facial expressions. This, however, proved to be her downfall as Momo hides inside Bamora's kaiju suit, activates its invisibility, and successfully shout out the word "pomade" ten times to have Reiko Kashima disappear, much to the slit-mouthed woman's anger. After the two quickly ran out of the area, Momo is hugged by Bamora and chooses to place her trust in her.
After barely arriving on time for school, Momo and Bamora meet up with Okarun and Aira who were waiting for the former. The three are then informed by a staff member that Bamora will be place in Class C and will be looked after by Okarun, much to Momo and Aira's objection. Later, Momo and Aira are prevented from entering the class by the Class Rep, not wanting them to disturb her classmates helping Bamora to understand their language.
After berating Okarun for becoming distracted in class, rather than focus on looking out for her signal to meet up with her, Aira and Jiji outside to discuss matters, Momo informs them of the gold ball installed into Bamora's suit to ask for their opinion on whether its Okarun's kintama or not, with Kinta concluding that it's not due to the suit already having an insert in place and that the internal workings of the suit is too complex to modified if she had recently acquired the ball. Momo then has the meeting come to a close after noticing that there are catching attention from nearby students and suggests meeting elsewhere that is not too conspicuous.
At home, Momo informs Seiko of her run in with Reiko Kashima and is informed by her that she is now in danger of running into her again due to the pomade spell only getting rid of evil spirits temporarily. Before going to bed, Momo is instructed by Seiko to not go outside after 10 pm for the next week and to stay away or cover any nearby mirrors. During the night, Momo hears Okarun's voice through the other side of her window, having come to return the manga she lent him, and that he is willing to stay and protect her from Reiko Kashima because he loves her. Momo becomes flustered to hear his confession and prepares to go outside to have him say this to her face-to-face. However, after asking Okarun about Jiji, she realizes on time that it is Reiko Kashima imitating Okarun's voice after she refers to Jiji the incorrect way Okarun refers to him. Though her trickery failed, Reiko Kashima continues to speak as Okarun in desperation to get Momo to come out, much to Momo's annoyance as she tries to block her out.
The Appearance of the Deadly Dudes[]
The next morning, Momo shows the Turbo Granny the gold ball installed into Bamora's suit and asks if its Okarun's kintama. The Turbo Granny request for Momo to get the item out of her sight, calling it out as filthy and informs her that it is something akin to human karma, much to Momo's wonder why Bamora would have something like it.
On her way to school with Bamora, Momo is met up by Okarun and starts to act frustrated with him due to Reiko Kashima's trickery last night, much to Okarun's confusion. At school, Miko, Muko, and Ririna watch as Momo sleeps on her desk, while Bamora continues to receive language lessons from her classmates. After the group gathers together behind the school, Jiji showcases his new ability to project his ki out of his palms, believing that this will be a first step for him to better support the group the next time they are confronted by another enemy. After school, Okarun complies with Momo to walk Bamora back to her house while she heads off to work. Upon dropping her off, Okarun tells Bamora that he can't marry her due to him being in love with Momo and storms off flustered. As he runs along the road, Okarun finds himself in Empty Space being confronted by a group of exosuit aliens. At the same time, another group of exosuit aliens appear to confront Aira and Jiji.
After the exosuit aliens commence an attack on them, Aira assumes her Acrobatic Silky form to fight back. Seeing Jiji unable to join in the fight as he flees from one of the exosuit aliens chasing after him, Aira recommends to him to switch out with the Evil Eye. Jiji tells Aira that this is not an option due to the Evil Eye agreeing to only fight Okarun but makes an attempt to support her by knocking back the Sniper Exosuit Alien with his ki projectile. After Jiji falls victim to the shockwave field of the exosuit alien chasing him, Aira finds a bucket of water and throws it at Jiji to awaken the Evil Eye. Though this ends up working, the Evil Eye ends up being put down by the Shockwave Field Exosuit Alien as he sticks to his promise to Okarun. Aira is then defeated as well by the Missile Exosuit Alien and the Sniper Exosuit Alien but manages to prevent her and the Evil Eye from being captured by their enemies by hiding in the sewers until the exosuit aliens give up on finding them and have Empty Space vanish. The two are then left out on the streets badly injured, with Aira wanting to alert the others about how dangerous their new enemies are.
Okarun assumes his Turbo Granny form to fight off the exosuit aliens. While he manages to hold his own against them early in the battle, he is soon defeated after receiving hits from a Jet Booster Exosuit Alien and being struck down with carved out space by a Space Carving Exosuit Alien. With Okarun unconscious, the exosuit aliens uses a Serpo device to extract his kintama and prepare to take him with them to investigate his body. However, Mr. Mantis Shrimp, while in his Dover Demon Strong Style Twenty-Four form, arrives on time to save Okarun and have the exosuit aliens leave without him. Mr. Mantis Shrimp then deactivates his form and checks on Okarun to see if he is still alive.
After her shift ends, Momo prepares to leave before 10pm to avoid running into Reiko Kashima. However, upon noticing the door locked, Momo turns around to see the customers and waitresses as clones of a man and defends herself as they target her. After the clones pin her down, Momo becomes hurt to learn from the exosuit alien controlling them that Bamora is in league with his party, crediting her for leading them to Earth, and remains helpless as one of the clones prepares to use a Serpo device to dissect her. Momo then finds herself being saved by a Serpo after he uses his psychic powers to repel the clones off her and demands for the enemy to return his people's belongings that the exosuit aliens stole.
With the clone being his people who have had their data altered by the exosuit aliens, Serpo asks for Momo's help to restore them back to their former selves using a pair of ironings. Momo complies to team up with him and manages to return a few of the altered Serpo back to normal, providing them with support to do the same with the others. However, the exosuit alien responsible shows itself on the ceiling to take back control of the Serpos and targets Momo. Due to the Puppeteer Exosuit Alien being in another dimension where he becomes intangible to anything from the real world, Momo attempts at attacking the alien by throwing object become useless but is informed by the Serpo that she is the only one capable of defeating it if she executes an attack with her psychic powers.
With her powers being the only chance to end the fight, Momo is put in a predicament of having to defeat the Puppeteer Exosuit Alien with a psychic attack due to not having one. As she is thrashed around from being entangled by the Puppeteer Exosuit Alien's spike protrusions, Momo thinks back to Seiko's past lesson about the Power of Words, an ability where the words said with feeling behind them can make things thought impossible into reality, from when she was a child and manages to unleash a spherical psychic blast with her hands cupped into a heart, the omajinai hand gesture of Moe Moe Kikoho, to repel the controlled Serpo close to her. Momo then uses this attack to defeat the Puppeteer Exosuit Alien, officially calling it the "Moe Moe Tri-Beam".
The Training & Out-of-Body Experience[]
With the Puppeteer Exosuit Alien defeated, the Serpos who were being controlled are returned to normal and see an opening to capture Momo, as her Moe Moe Tri-Beam resulted in her being drained of her power. However, the Serpos who teamed up with Momo earlier chooses to send his clones away as a truce between them, much to Momo's relief. As she tends to her injuries, Momo hears the Serpo's speculation about their common enemy originating from the farther reaches of space and how they arrived on Earth through a transmission system. Remembering the Puppeteer Exosuit Alien telling her that Bamora is in league with them, Momo asks the Serpo out of curiosity if there was a girl who looked like a kaiju amongst the exosuit aliens who attacked his people at the time and is told that he was unsure. After the Serpo mentions how her friends may also be in danger of being attacked by the exosuit aliens, Momo gets ready to leave to meet up with them and demands for the Serpo to return her back to normal space. The Serpo complies and requests for Momo to take him with her, wanting to erase the data the exosuit aliens robbed from his people. Momo initially refuses but has no choice but to comply, needing to use him as a disguise to hide in a manga cafe to avoid Reiko Kashima due to the time being after ten.
At the manga cafe, Reiko Kashima takes possession of the man at the front desk using his mirror to search for Momo. While Momo is asleep, the Serpo pulls out an extendable needle device from his abdomen to insert it into Momo but retracts it back after the possessed front desk man knocks on the door asking for the customer to come out and refill the cafe form as a way of tricking Momo into meeting face-to-face. Momo hides back under the Serpo's shirt again but is almost caught after the Serpo gives the front desk man permission to let him look under his shirt. Realizing that it is Reiko Kashima taking possession of the man after noticing the mirror in his pocket, Momo uses her powers to cancel out the possession by controlling one of her bandages to wrap around the mirror, leaving the front desk man's shocked and confused by what was going on. After the man leaves apologizing for his discourtesy, Momo questions the Serpo as to what the device was around his shirt but receives no answer after he changes the topic, asking if she has ever professed her love to someone, much to her annoyance.
On her way home, Momo runs into Chiquitita warning her that her friends were attacked and comes home horrified to find her living room bloody and Aira and Jiji bandaged up as they rest in bed. Momo also discovers a dead octopus under one of the sheets, being informed by Mr. Mantis Shrimp that it is one of the exosuit aliens that Okarun defeated who died after spending time outside their destroyed suit, confirming to him that the alien race is unable to survive Earth's atmosphere without their suits. Momo investigates the destroyed exosuit and finds a core similar to the one Bamora has in her suit. She then finds out from Mr. Mantis Shrimp that Okarun's kintama has been taken by the enemy and he is currently hooked to a life support machine. Upon seeing Bamora again, Momo attacks her for being a spy of the exosuit aliens and chases her outside where she angrily demands for her to never her face to her again. Though Bamora complies to leave, using her kaiju suit's invisibility to mask her presence, Momo begins to cry after what transpired and is asked by the Serpo why she is since Bamora was her enemy. Momo disagrees that she is crying and hears from the Serpo that he seems unable to comprehend humans, much to Momo's agreement that they will never understand each other. Not wanting to wait to give her enemies another chance to attack again, Momo declares vengeance on the exosuit aliens by finding and attacking them first, with the Serpo speculating that their location should be at a nearby transmission system.
Later, while being properly treated by Mr. Mantis Shrimp, Momo becomes relived to see Aira and Jiji conscious and well enough to move, with the former stating her intentions on getting payback on the exosuit aliens and calling out Jiji as being useless at the time when they came under attack. Having learned from Momo that Seiko is away on a business trip in Hokkaido, Aira finds that her absence to be a big problem and becomes concern of another possible attack from the enemy. Momo asks Jiji about the situation with the Evil Eye and is told that the yokai has no interest in fighting the enemy since he intends on keeping his promise to Okarun. After remarking how she does not consider the Evil Eye to be an ally nonetheless, Aira becomes frustrated to learn from Momo that Bamora was a spy affiliated with the exosuit aliens. Jiji expresses his doubts that this is true, believing that what the enemy told Momo was incorrect due to the language barrier between humans and aliens, and ends up getting into an argument with Momo who still believes what she heard is true. Momo, Aira, and Jiji then hear Okarun speaking after taking out his attachment from his mouth, asking for them to stop fighting, and rushes over to check on him. After Okarun becomes reassured that they are all okay after asking and informs Momo that his kintama was taken, Momo panics after he stops responding but is calmed down by Mr. Mantis Shrimp as he puts back his attachment, explaining that it helps to stop the blood and phlegm in his lungs from suffocating him and that he must have removed it because he couldn't stand to hear his friends argue, much to Momo and Jiji's guilt.
After bringing Aira, Jiji, and Mr. Mantis Shrimp outside to meet the Serpo, Momo informs the alien that the enemy has Okarun's kintama, confirming to him that the exosuit aliens are space globalists who have plans to invade Earth by using Okarun's kintama as a way to summon their main force, which he speculates should take approximately five days. Despite there not being a way to pick Seiko up from Hokkaido to back them up for the upcoming invasion, Momo and the others become confident that they can stop the exosuit aliens and decide to use the time they have to train. Following the Serpo's suggestion to relocate to the Serpo base, Mr. Mantis, after failed attempts from Momo and Aira, remodels the Ayase house into a moving vehicle and recklessly drives the group to the base.
Using the Combat-Use Simulators found in the base to project holograms of the exosuit aliens they fought, Momo, Aira, Jiji, and Mr. Mantis Shrimp train by simulating a battle against them. By the end of practice, Momo, Jiji, and Mr. Mantis Shrimp receive criticism from Aira for performing poorly. Shortly after, Momo tries contacting Seiko over the phone but to no avail and allows Mr. Mantis Shrimp to use her house to drive back to Chiquitita for the night. During the night, Momo finds herself unable to sleep due to hearing a constant banging noise on the wall but receives help from Jiji who applies ki to his hands and covers her ears to block out the sound, which impresses her. He then offers to continue doing this while she sleeps.
In the morning, Okarun wakes up wondering where he is and becomes shocked to see his body recuperating, causing him to realize that he is having an out-of-body experience. He then searches for Momo for help and becomes shocked to find her and Jiji curled up together while asleep. After Mr. Mantis Shrimp comes in to wake them up, Okarun realizes that no one can see him as an astral projection as he tries to get their attention but becomes aware of the situation from hearing Aira's talk with Momo and comes in the house hoping to find Seiko and the Turbo Granny for help, only to realize that the two are in Hokkaido. After the phone starts to ring, Okarun finds himself being suck into it, after attempting to pick up the call, and transported to where Seiko and the Turbo Granny are, with the latter being the caller as she tries to get in contact with Momo. While currently fighting off a yokai, Seiko slightly hears Okarun's voice and makes a scope with her hand to see him clearly, leading her to ask why he is here. Before hearing Okarun out about the situation back home, Seiko quickly exorcises the yokai using her talismans and gives her appreciation to the god of the land for allowing her to borrow their power for this task.
After finishing up with her work exorcising the yokai, Seiko is informed by Okarun of the details regarding the exosuit aliens and is requested to come back home to help stop the upcoming invasion. Seiko unfortunately tells Okarun that she can't come home just yet, having been required to spend the next three days visiting temples to give thanks as per her contract made with the god of the region after borrowing their power for her job. On another note, Seiko tells Okarun that he should focus on getting back to his body as she explains the risk of him staying as an astral projection, telling him that the longer he is like that the higher chances are of him losing connection to his physical body once the rear cord linked to his body becomes too thin to where it snaps. The Turbo Granny initially finds amusement in Okarun's predicament, thinking that this meant that she could regain her powers once he dies, but realizes from Seiko, who tells her that her powers will be lost if the young man dies, that she has no choice but to help him. Okarun is told by the Turbo Granny that he is able to travel back to his body by using her power to travel through telephone lines by following the spiraling magnetic field, which was how he got to Hokkaido. Before he leaves, Seiko tells Okarun that she will try to hurry back home and has him pass on a message to Momo and the others, advising them to incorporate Spiral Power, spiral motion and movement, whenever he comes face-to-face with an enemy stronger than him.
The Invasion: Confrontation[]
After finish training up until the night of the invasion, Momo, Aira, Jiji, Mr. Mantis Shrimp, and the Serpo head out, using the mobile Ayase house, to stop the exosuit aliens from summoning their main force, while leaving Okarun at the Serpo base to continue recuperating. Meanwhile, Okarun manages to get within close proximity of his body from traveling via the telephone lines and decides to follow the path of his cord on the road, which subsequently leads to him missing the Ayase house as it passes by the moment he turned around. During the drive, Momo gives Jiji a Serpo communicator to talk each other during combat and advises him and Aira to use the Power of Words. Upon entering Empty Space, where the exosuit aliens have already opened their warp gate to summon most of their spacecrafts, the Ayase house come under attack by the exosuit aliens from before.
Unscathed by the attack launched at them, Aira, Jiji, and Mr. Mantis Shrimp jump out of the destroyed Ayase house to fight back against the perpetrators. Mr. Mantis Shrimp faces the Mantis Exosuit Alien using his laser blades and manages to land a blow to send the alien back. After the Multi-Armed Exosuit Alien comes in to restrain Mr. Mantis Shrimp with his mechanical arms to have him in the Sniper Exosuit Alien's line of fire, Aira uses her Acrobatic Silky hair to grab the arms, pull him out of the way of the shot and moves in to land a kick on the Multi-Armed Exosuit Alien. Aira then assigns Momo the task of going on ahead of them to close the warp gate. Momo points out the number of enemies surrounding them making it difficult for her to go on ahead and worries about one of them falling to their enemies since defeating the exosuit aliens requires a group effort. With the warp gate being open much earlier than he had calculated, Momo is urged by the Serpo, who she carries along with her, to listen to Aira, believing that they will not be able to stop their enemies once the main force arrives, and is reassured by Jiji, Mr. Mantis Shrimp, and Aira that they can handle fighting the exosuit aliens present. Momo then proceeds to leave off with the Serpo to close the warp gate as planned.
After making it back to the Serpo base, Okarun wonders where the Ayase house has gone but proceeds to re-enter his body to regain consciousness. Though he wants to meet up with Momo and the others to help stop the invasion, Okarun feels that his body is still in too much pain to do anything. However, after noticing a plate of curry left for him, along with a note from Momo that reads "love ya!", Okarun gains the motivation needed to reunite with the others, as he assumes his Turbo Granny as he eats his dinner.
Aira, Jiji, and Mr. Mantis Shrimp support each other as they continue fighting against the exosuit aliens. To gain a chance of victory, Aira tells Jiji and Mr. Mantis Shrimp that they will have to ambush and defeat one of the exosuit aliens when an opening is presented and assigns them each an opponent to face. Matching herself with the Multi-Armed Exosuit Alien, Aira manages to counter his six mechanical arms with her Acrobatic Silky hair and comes in for a kick. However. she is restrained from behind by the Shockwave Field Exosuit Alien and becomes unable to free herself as she is harmed by the exosuit alien's shockwave field. After his ki blast fails to cause any major damage to the Shockwave Field Exosuit Alien to free Aira, Jiji requests help from Mr. Mantis Shrimp to save Aira but sees that he is being overwhelmed by the Mantis Exosuit Alien's laser blades slashing his body. After being left open for the Missile Exosuit Alien to hit him with his missiles, Jiji thinks back to Momo's recommendation to utilize the Power of Words for special moves and executes this with his ki blast by calling it the "Evil Gun", resulting a powerful beam of energy being fired at the Shockwave Field Exosuit Alien that damages the suit and release Aira from the exosuit alien's grasp.
After the Sniper Exosuit Alien fires his electromagnetic projectile near Jiji, the Multi-Armed Exosuit Alien moves in to restrain him with his extra arms and tries to drain him of all of his energy. However, this leads to his downfall as Jiji's vast amount of ki becomes too much for the alien's exosuit to absorb and bursts as a result of it overheating. While Jiji clashes his Evil Gun against the Shockwave Field and Sniper Exosuit Alien's combined beams, Aira faces the Missile Exosuit Alien whose electrical shield no longer works against her due to her hair being dehydrated from lack of maintenance and her being caught by the Shockwave Field Exosuit Alien's shockwave field. Despite managing to bypass it to land a kick, the Missile Exosuit Alien notes that her kicks are not strong enough to damage his armor. As Aira is alerted by Jiji that his Evil Gun is about to lose ground against the Shockwave Field and Sniper Exosuit Alien's beams, she is left opened for the Missile Exosuit Alien to bombard her with his missiles.
Meanwhile, Kinta attempts to put on an act for Momo, Okarun, and the others by wrapping himself in bandages and putting on an eyepatch, with his story being that he came out of a fight with a few injuries against an alien. This only proved to be worthless after finding out that they are not at school. During the remainder of his time at school, Kinta receives poor test results and performs inadequately during soccer. After school, Kinta notices a couple making out on his way home, thinks back to his time piloting the Great Kinta, and notices the Ayase house missing after passing by the residency. This causes him to realize that the group is off facing a threat and, upon noticing a distress message attached to the Torii gate, uses the nanoskin the structure is made of to construct a motorcycle and head over to Tokyo Tower where the others are to provide help.
As she races to the spot where Okarun's kintama is being used to open the warp gate, Momo is confronted by the Mecha Exosuit Alien and the Jet Booster Exosuit Alien, two exosuit aliens who previously fought Okarun, and uses her powers to shield herself from their attacks. The Serpo then puts up his psychic shield to protect them from the Mecha Exosuit Alien's rapid fire of bullets, however, due to only have one arm to erect it, the Serpo becomes unable to block a few of the bullets and is shot in the head. Rather than assist him, the Serpo urges Momo to quickly defeat the exosuit aliens. Momo determines that using her Moe Moe Tri-Beam is not possible since she is not close enough to attack the Mecha Exosuit Alien and that she can only use it once since it completely drains her of her ki. As she yells out to the Serpo to endure much longer, Bamora appears using her kaiju suit in its giant form to attack the Mecha Exosuit Alien and defeat it while invisible. Using electrical restraints given to him by the Space Carving Exosuit Alien, the Jet Booster Exosuit Alien restrains Bamora to reveal her presence and have her shrink down to normal size so that the Space Carving Exosuit Alien can take her out of her exosuit. Still believing that Bamora is in league with the exosuit aliens, Momo becomes confused as to why the Space Carving Exosuit Alien is harming her by squeezing her head and claiming her suit for himself. After thanking Momo, Bamora is impaled through the stomach by the Space Carving Exosuit Alien's tail, much to Momo's shock.
The Tale of Bamora[]
After the Space Carving Exosuit Alien throws Bamora aside, Momo uses her psychic powers to catch her, still confused about the situation, and tries to use her powers to close Bamora's wound while the Serpo puts up his shield to protect them from the Jet Booster Exosuit Alien as he tries to attack Momo. As she begs for Bamora to stay alive so that she can hear her out, having realized that she was wrong about her all this time, Momo inadvertently has her psychic powers come in contact with Bamora's aura and receives visions of her memories, which also transfers to Okarun, Aira, Jiji, Mr. Mantis Shrimp, and the Serpo through the Serpo communicator.
Bamora's memories begin with her home planet Sumer being invaded by the exosuit aliens when she was a little girl and her being rescued off the battlefield by a woman named Banga. From then on, Bamora, who is believed to be the last child of her people, became Banga's responsibility as she fought alongside her comrades Tome, Aja, and the other female resistance against the invaders who are feeding Sumerians to creatures known as Big Mamas to convert them into exosuits for them to wear. By the time she had reached her adolescence, Bamora traveled with her party to the West in seek of allies. However, this only leads them into an ambush launched by the exosuit aliens. With her, Banga, Tome, Aja being the only survivors of their party to make it out of the attack, Bamora starts to lose hope at surviving but is soon reassured by Banga that they have a chance to escape the invasion by using Sumer pyramid to transport themselves to their second homeland Idea.
After fighting past the exosuit aliens, Bamora, Banga, Tome, and Aja managed to reach the spot where the pyramid is at, which was being used as a site to feed male Sumerians to a Big Mama. With Banga pointing out that they need numbers to get through the exosuit aliens on guard, Bamora used this as an opportunity to help free one of the prisoners but ended up causing a riot in the process. In the midst of the chaos, Banga used an exosuit resembling the Sumerian God to save Bamora from a Big Mama about to devour her and motivated the male Sumerians to focus their attention on fighting back against their enemies for Bamora's sake as the last Sumerian child. After managing to make it to the pyramid and activate its warp gate, Banga forced Bamora to enter only with her exosuit while she stayed behind, as the transportation system only had enough power to send only one person, and said her goodbyes to her daughter as she departed. By the time Bamora was gone, the Space Carving Exosuit Alien, along with his allies, confronted Banga and threatened to torture Aja if she did not activate the warp gate to track down Bamora.
Upon her arrival on Idea (Earth), Bamora roamed around Kamikoshi City wearing her exosuit wanting to find a strong husband, as requested of Banga during their last moments, and eventually comes across Momo, Okarun, and Kinta at the apartment complex, leading up to the events of the exosuit aliens' arrival on Earth.
The Invasion: Climax[]
After Bamora's memories end with her choice to join the Family to stop the Kur invasion, in light of her fear of them, Okarun, Aira, Jiji, Mr. Mantis Shrimp are shown feeling empathic from viewing everything Bamora went through, with Momo looking at her enemies with anger and tears in her eyes. With his power growing weaker as he continues putting up his Six Sense Organs to block the Jet Booster Exosuit Alien's attacks, along with Momo too busy trying to heal Bamora, the Serpo uses his extendable needle device he previously tried injecting Momo with at the manga cafe to heal Bamora's impaled stomach, revealing that it was meant for Momo in case she was mortally wounded. Before his body gives out, the Serpo requests for Momo to erase the data the exosuit aliens stole from his people by destroying their suits. The Jet Booster Exosuit Alien then kicks Momo away and grabs Bamora by the neck while the Space Carving Exosuit Alien states how fortunate it was to track Bamora down to a planet that they could conqueror and his idea to swap his suit's head for hers, thinking that it may provide him luck due to her still be alive. After using her psychic powers to knock back the Jet Booster Exosuit Alien with a tree to release Bamora, an empathic Momo hugs and apologizes to Bamora for treating her harshly, now realizing how much she had to endure by herself, and gives her assurance that she believes that her mother Banga is still alive. She also looks at the Serpo's lifeless body, telling Rokuro that he is the only Serpo she has come to like and that she will honor his request. While the Space Carving Exosuit Alien tells Momo of his plan to make a suit out of her body, Momo challenges them and tells Bamora to stay behind her as she prepares to fight the aliens using a few levitated trees and rubble.
Wanting to prevent her from escaping like last time, the Missile Exosuit Alien uses his floating disks to electrocute Aira while she is still down but ends up giving her an opening to use her Acrobatic Silky hair to restrain him once he had gotten in close-range. The Missile Exosuit Alien then launches his missiles at Aira who uses her hair to shield herself from the bombardment. After getting back on his feet, Jiji once again clashes his Evil Gun against the Shockwave Field and Sniper Exosuit Alien's projectiles and, after visioning Bamora, tries mustering up more power, which impresses the two exosuit aliens as they think that he may become a perfect suit to wear. Aira enters into a battle of attrition against the Missile Exosuit Alien, opting to constantly kick him in an attempt to put a dent in his armor while keeping herself shielded from his missiles, which ends up being too much for her too handle. Just as both Aira and Jiji struggle in their battles, Okarun contacts them through the communicator, telling them that he is on his way and to use Spiral Power as recommended by Seiko. Having heard his message about Spiral Power, Jiji recalls a time where Seiko once gave him a lesson about this, having been instructed to unite his ki with the Evil Eye's and have them both rotate in order to unleash the yokai's power. Jiji then executes this with his Evil Gun, resulting in it being infused with the Evil Eye's power that gives the blast the boost it needs to beat the blasts of the Shockwave Field and Sniper Exosuit Aliens' and defeat them. At the same time, Aira uses Spiral Power on her hair to form a full body size drill that successfully penetrates the armor. Just as she swears to defeat the other exosuit aliens for Bamora's sake, Aira officially names her special technique the "Pirouette Noble Drill", as suggested by Jiji to use the Power of Words, and defeats the Missile Exosuit Alien.
Elsewhere, Mr. Mantis Shrimp loses ground in his fight against the Mantis Exosuit Alien. After recalling how he promised his boss to come back for Chiquitita before meeting up with the Family for the invasion, Mr. Mantis Shrimp jumps in the nearby river to fight in his natural environment and states his resolve to his enemy to fight with everything he has to repay the debt that he owes to the people who helped him. With the change in setting, the Mantis Exosuit Alien shifts his suit into its Water Form to enter the water and fight Mr. Mantis Shrimp, with the latter unable to keep up with the exosuit alien's boost in capabilities. After being pinned to a wall, the Mantis Exosuit Alien injects Mr. Mantis Shrimp with a deadly venom to put an end to him. However, with the exosuit alien close enough for him to land a hit, Mr. Mantis Shrimp manages to damage the Mantis Exosuit Alien with a punch and proceeds to transform into his Dover Demon Strong Style Twenty-Four form to throw his Jet Punch that further damages the exosuit. He then swims back up to the surface to catch his breath and releases the venom from his body, noting that he is fortune that his race is immune to venom. Signaling his defeat, the Mantis Exosuit Alien is shown exploding from the river.
Momo takes on the Space Carving and Jet Booster Exosuit Aliens by hurling a wave of debris with her powers. While the Jet Booster Exosuit Alien is encased in the debris, the Space Carving Exosuit Alien uses his suit's powers to send the wave away to his dimension and back at Momo and Bamora, causing them to be knocked back. The Space Carving Exosuit Alien then closes the distance between him and the two girls to attack up close with carved space in his hands, but has it repelled by Momo's Moe Moe Tri-Beam. Shortly after, numerous exosuit aliens, who have passed from the warp gate, appear to attack Momo and Bamora, resulting in the two girls losing the fight and restrained from being overwhelmed by their numbers.
However, Okarun appears right on time, using his telephone line teleportation, to quickly eliminate a few of the exosuit aliens and save Momo. While holding her in his arms, Okarun tells Momo that the curry she left for him was delicious and receives a hug from her as she cries responding to this. Momo then asks for Okarun to save Bamora being restrained as well but sees that the exosuit alien who has captured her is eliminated by Aira using her Pirouette Noble Drill, much to Momo's relief to see her again and Aira's to see Momo still alive. Momo also becomes relieved to see Mr. Mantis Shrimp appearing to knock back an exosuit alien with a punch. After Momo asks Mr. Mantis Shrimp about Jiji's whereabouts, Okarun becomes prompted to tell her that something extremely bad is currently happening, referring to the Evil Eye who appears eliminating any exosuit aliens that gets in his way wanting to fight Okarun, due to today being Tuesday. While standing next everyone gathered, the Evil Eye tells the exosuit aliens not to get in his way fighting Okarun or he and the others will kill them all.
With her allies here to support her, Momo becomes ready to fight against the exosuit aliens once again. Using his teleportation line teleportation power to boost his speed, Okarun instantly takes down a few of the exosuit aliens, much to Momo's shock to see how strong he has gotten. Momo and Bamora are then saved by the Evil Eye from being attacked by an exosuit alien. Still desiring to fight Okarun, the Eye throws his large weapon towards the telephone lines to disrupt the latter's teleportation and proceeds to fight him up in combat. Their fight is soon interrupted by the Jet Booster Exosuit Alien and another exosuit alien who uses multiple arms to attack the Evil Eye. While Okarun is preoccupied fighting the Jet Booster Exosuit Alien, the Evil Eye defeats the exosuit alien punching him and proceeds to attack the other aliens as he demands for them to not get in his way. The Jet Booster Exosuit Alien receives assistant from the Space Carving Exosuit Alien as he fights Okarun, as the latter uses his suit's power to shift the position of his ally close enough to attack Okarun by surprise. Momo then throws rubble at the Jet Booster Exosuit Alien to knock him back and warns Okarun to be wary of the Space Carving Exosuit Alien's power to carve and throw space.
Seeing the Jet Booster Exosuit Alien coming to attack, Okarun uses the speed of his telephone line teleportation to kick the exosuit alien away into a building. After the Space Carving Exosuit throws out carved space to shorten the distance between him, Momo, and Okarun, Okarun attempts to use All-Out to launch himself at his enemy but is blocked by the carved space cloaking the Space Carving Exosuit Alien. Momo then uses her psychic power to pull Okarun away and throw a big chuck of rubble at the Space Carving Exosuit Alien, only for this to become successful as well after he sends it away. Okarun carries Momo as he tells her that All-Out won't work on the Space Carving Exosuit Alien as long as he protects himself with carved space, while Momo states that she can't also attack with her Moe Moe Tri-Beam due to his spatial attacks canceling out her special move and will be out of energy if she uses it again. After noticing debris within the holes on the Space Carving Exosuit Alien's back, the two figure out that his back acts like a dimension where he can store things with his carved space. Momo then tells Okarun to charge straight at the Space Carving Exosuit Alien after coming up with a plan to defeat him, which she notes that only she can accomplish based on the reason why Rokuro came to her for help. Okarun listens to Momo despite not being aware as to what she has in mind and becomes shocked, along Aira and Bamora, to witness her being sent to the dimension as the exosuit alien uses his carved space to get rid of the rubble the Esper sends his way. However, this is revealed to have been a trap setup by Momo, as her psychic powers that has the capabilities of transcending dimensions, as Rokuro previously told her, allows her to destroy the alien's exosuit from within using her Moe Moe Tri-Beam. As the Space Carving Exosuit Alien makes an attempt at attacking her, while stating that what Okarun hears Momo calling out to him for help and uses his telephone line teleportation speed to charge straight through the exosuit alien and catch Momo, resulting in his defeat.
Momo thanks Okarun for saving her but is scolded by him for pulling off a reckless stunt that could have cost her her life, prompting her to apologize to him. At the same time, Okarun also expresses his relief that she is all right. Momo and Okarun try fleeing from the ongoing battle, as both their powers have been used up, and are ordered by Aira to focus their attention on closing the warp gate while Mr. Mantis Shrimp guards them. The alien who was operating the Space Carving Exosuit becomes furious with Momo and Okarun for destroying his suit and vows to get back at them. Seeing Bamora using her kaiju suit to fight off the exosuit aliens, the Space Carving Exosuit Alien invades her suit to steal it as its new wearer and have it enter its Slaughter Mode. Seeing Bamora about to be thrown out of the mouth by the Space Carving Exosuit Alien, Momo calls out for Aira to save her. Aira finds that she won't be able to with the exosuit aliens blocking her path. However, she, Momo, and Okarun become stunned to see Kinta make a sudden appearance after he drives his bike through the crowd, with the driver making a line on top of his entrance.
Noticing Kinta holding the note she left at the torii gate intended for her grandmother, Momo expresses her disappointment, along with Okarun and Aira, that Seiko will no longer be able to receive it when she comes back. While choosing to ignore this, Kinta asks Momo where her house is so that he can once again pilot the Great Kinta and becomes disappointed to learn from her that it has been destroyed. After Bamora is dropped by the Space Carving Exosuit Alien, Kinta uses the nanoskin bike to turn it into a rocket to save her, however, he ends up falling along with Bamora as well after exosuit aliens shoots down his rocket mid-flight. Kinta then tries reaching out to Bamora to catch her and brings out a cube of nanoskin to gather together the nanoskin pieces of the destroyed Ayase house to form the Great Kinta and face the Space Carving Exosuit Alien, with him making the first attack by using the Tokyo Tower as a melee weapon to knock the alien back.
In response to getting knocked back by with the Tokyo Tower, the Space Carving Exosuit Alien uses the Tokyo Skytree as a melee weapon that he believes is superior to the Tokyo Tower given its length. However, Kinta disagrees by pointing out facts the Tokyo Tower has over the Skytree while continuing to pilot the Great Kinta to fight with the tower, which he calls a "mystic sword". Kinta soon loses the upper hand against the Space Carving Exosuit Alien after he uses the kaiju suit's horns to repeatedly destroy the Great Kinta until he extracts the piloting core with Kinta and Bamora inside. As he starts to crush the core, the Space Carving Exosuit Alien notices Kinta resisting by calling on more nanoskin from the remains of the Great Kinta and recommends that he give up as he believes that it is futile effort. Kinta states his refusal to listen to the Space Carving Exosuit Alien, explaining that, in light of how mediocre he is, he cannot bring himself to throw away the two things he loves right in front of him (robots and beautiful girls (Bamora)). After using the nanoskin to construct a bike to have him and Bamora secretly move towards the back of the kaiju exosuit, just as the Space Carving Exosuit Alien crushes the pod, Kinta constructs a large jetpack to propel the Space Carving Exosuit Alien up towards the sky and pilots it with Bamora to send the alien plummeting to the ground with a spinning powerbomb that deactivates the suit's Slaughter Mode.
With the Space Carving Exosuit Alien out of the way, Momo, Okarun, and Mr. Mantis Shrimp proceed to where the kintama is and retrieve to deactivate the warp gate. However, the exosuit alien's main force manages to slip through the warp gate before it completely closes and commences its destruction of the false city, causing the Empty Space to gradually tear apart. Needing to prevent the main force from causing any causalities once Empty Space is gone, Momo tries rushing over to Kinta's location to have him use the Great Kinta against the fleet. However, matters become much worse after Momo ends up running into Reiko Kashima, much to the yokai's delight and eagerness to finally get the chance to exact her revenge on Momo. With the main force and Reiko Kashima being too much for her to handle all at once, Momo falls down to her knees with her spirit shattered and voices her wish to see Seiko again. Hearing this, Reiko Kashima flashes back to the time when she was alive and screaming for her mother during a bombing attack and looks up to see the main force committing the same action. Angered and offended by this, Reiko Kashima retaliates by using her mirror powers to projectile a large fist that destroys the fleet's main battleship.
After destroying the main battleship, Reiko Kashima proceeds to send the entire exosuit alien army inside her mirror to eliminate each and every one of them by sending in her fist. Knowing that Reiko Kashima has a vendetta against Momo, Okarun stands in front of Momo to protect her from the yokai and requests that she direct her grudge towards him instead. Momo refuses to have Okarun take the fall for her past mistakes and tells Reiko Kashima to keep him out of the situation between the two of them. As she watches Momo trying to keep Okarun from getting involved, Reiko Kashima becomes reminded of a happy time in her past life when she was very close with a man, prompting her to leave the site without doing anything to harm either one of them, much to Momo and Okarun's confusion.
After the two find themselves back in the real world, due to Empty Space being cancelled, Momo and Okarun reunite with their friends and leave the city together inside the mobile Ayase house now that the invasion has ended.
Aftermath[]
At the Ayase residence, Momo and the others are served barbeque prepared by Seiko, who has returned back from her trip to Hokkaido. As everyone eats and converses, Momo talks to Okarun about how Bamora must be worried about her mother and is suggested asking Ludris for help reuniting them. Much to her shock, Momo is visited by Rokuro who came to thank her for keeping good on her promise to destroy the Serpo data the exosuit aliens stole. Wondering how he is still alive, Mr. Mantis Shrimp jumps in to explain that he managed to save the Serpo by using leftover nanoskin to reform his body, much to Rokuro's delight to have acquired Ludris technology that he demonstrates by reshaping his left arm into a weapon. While she is glad that he survived, Momo demands for him to not make any attempts at attacking her and her friends, only to receive no reply back as Rokuro decides to leave. After Seiko brings up the matter of the curry being gone, Momo becomes reminded of the curry she left for Okarun and the note she wrote that read "love ya", causing her to become flustered being next to him and complying to go shopping at the market as she continues saying curry.
While heading to the market, along with her friends who each desired something from there, Momo becomes eager to know if Okarun say and read her note, since he has yet to bring it up, while Okarun tries interpreting what Momo meant by the note and worries that he might get the wrong idea if he were to bring it up. The group then find themselves running into Reiko Kashima, who presents herself with a different appearance, due to not putting on her makeup, and learn of her plans to go away in search of a husband, having been influenced by Momo and Okarun's relationship during her time secretly monitoring them. Before departing, Reiko Kashima urges Momo to be honest with herself and not stray away from her feelings towards Okarun.
Along the way back to the Ayase residence, after buying what they wanted at the market, Momo thinks back to the first time she, Okarun, and Kinta met Bamora at the apartment complex and interprets the suit exposing the golden ball while invisible was a message to that "our precious child is here", which Okarun agrees with. Meanwhile, Banga, Tome, Aja, and two male Sumerians pilot an aircraft to fight off the exosuit aliens as they leave Sumer, with Banga yelling out to Bamora to wait on their reunion as she and the others are about to go on a space adventure along their way to Earth.
At the Ayase residence, the Turbo Granny finds a Serpo communicator on the ground and puts it on, resulting in her inadvertently viewing the Serpos currently investigating the data stored inside the Space Carving Exosuit head. From what they gathered, the Serpos infer that the exosuit aliens, who they decide to refer to as the Kur, are on the move conquering planets and that it is possible for them to invade the Earth again with the many pyramid transmission systems on the planet, prompting them to also share the information with other worlds. The Serpos also find that their biggest problem is the fact that Count Saint-Germain can be seen among the Kur in the projection. Upon seeing Count Saint-Germain's face, the Turbo Granny reacts with anger on her face while calling him "Hyper Geezer".
