History[]
Kintama Hunt Saga[]
Cursed House Arc[]
The bakery is briefly seen while Okarun, Momo and Jiji are chasing Taro, believing he's in possession of Okarun's missing ball.[1]
Current Saga[]
At some point after the Kur Invasion, Count Saint-Germain found a female alien affiliate of the Kur as the only survivor of the invasion and had her come work for him at the bakery.[2][3]
Shimane Arc[]
Count Saint-Germain and his subordinate baking bread together.
At the bakery, Count Saint-Germain worked alongside his aide until Enenra appeared to report to him of his failure to acquire the powers of Momo, Okarun, and Seiko. Despite this, the Count believes that they have accomplished much and that they should change their approach to befriending the Family instead. Meanwhile, the female alien receives an origami crane as a gift from a little girl as thanks for her services.[4]
Current Arc[]
Following her failed attempt to kill Okarun, Count Saint-Germain's henchwoman requested for her boss to forge her a new suit, having struggled to pilot the one he had given her and deemed it too weak. Count Saint‑Germain agreed to honor her request, but only on the condition that she completed one more task for him. He presented her with a whistle and explained that, when blown, it would cause the lamp inside the bakery to light up, at which point she was to rush to aid its wielder using her suit's GPS system.[5]
Trivia[]
- It is rather unclear whether or not Count Saint-Germain secured his position at the bakery through the same enigmatic means he used to join the faculty of Kami High. His exact standing within the bakery is also ambiguous; however, it is strongly implied to be a high-ranking role, as evidenced by his authority to hire the female alien from the Kur.
- Ironically, the bakery's name carries a deliberate nod to Turbo Granny's nickname for Count Saint-Germain, which is Hyper Geezer (ハイパージジイ Haipā Jijii?).
